Hey, it's Geb from Email Rev Lab!
At 3:51 am this morning, I signed up for Live Conscious's 30% discount.
The pop-up said the email was coming "shortly."
I checked my inbox at 4:00 am. Nine minutes had passed.
That's the bottleneck.

The Brand:
Live Conscious started as LiveWell Labs, rebranded in April 2021 by Scale Media with one clear mantra: "It Actually Works." They now partner with Vitamin Angels, working toward a goal of reaching 200,000 women and children with essential nutrition in 2026. PRWebPR Newswire
Their whole model is built on truth in labeling, ingredient safety, and product potency. We Live Conscious
But none of that matters if your welcome email takes 9 minutes to arrive. By then, the buyer's already gone.
The Pop-up Test:

Two-step pop-up. Clean design. First screen asks, "Would you like up to 30% off?" and you click YES.
Smart. That micro-commitment increases email submits.
But the confirmation screen says, "You will receive an email with your discount shortly." Shortly isn't 9 minutes.
The Tech Test:

A 9-minute delivery delay points to a Klaviyo flow trigger issue. Either the flow isn't set to real-time processing, or there's a queue bottleneck on their sending domain.
At 3:51 am, inbox competition is basically zero. There's no excuse for that lag.
The Inbox Test:

Landed in Promotions, not Primary. That's a deliverability signal worth watching long-term.
Subject line: "Claim Your Exclusive Welcome Gift! Up to 30% Off!" Clear, but it reads like every other supplement brand. Nothing stops the scroll.
The Email Creative Test:
Header says "Better Wellness Starts Here." Fine, but generic for a brand with a real mission behind it.
Three products featured (Collagen Peptides, MagWell, OmegaWell) with individual CTAs. Solid structure.
But the discount code isn't above the fold. A buyer who waited 9 minutes and still has to scroll to find their code? That's a second exit point.
The Fix (Klaviyo, 3 Steps):
Open your Welcome Series flow. Check the trigger setting. Set it to real-time processing, not batched. Batched processing is the most common cause of 5 to 15-minute send delays in Klaviyo.
Move the discount code to the very top of Email 1. Above the hero image. One line. Bold. No scroll required.
Test a more specific subject line: "Your 30% off code expires in 24 hours" outperforms generic welcome lines in nearly every A/B test I've seen.
The Impact:
Klaviyo's own benchmark data shows welcome emails sent within 5 minutes of signup convert significantly higher than those delayed past that window. Nine minutes is enough time for a buyer to find a competitor, get distracted, or simply forget why they signed up.
Here's what I'm curious about: how many people clicked "Claim Discount" in the last 30 days but never placed an order?
Live Conscious has the mission, the products, and the community trust. They just need their email infrastructure to match.
I send these audits daily because bottlenecks like this can be fixed in one day with the right information.
Want me to audit your Klaviyo account the same way?
Reply to this email and I'll send you a free breakdown of where your welcome series is leaking revenue.
